Parents / Guardians
The info-graphic above has been prepared by the parent volunteers who act as ‘wardens’ at the drop-off in the morning and is based on years of experience of near misses and general driver/pedestrian behavior in the area at the drop-off time.
Two biggest messages with this are:
(1) Please drive with care and consideration for pedestrians and other drivers at all times in the area of the school;
(2) Please respect the ‘Drop & Go’ zone and please do not delay while using the ‘Drop & Go’ zone as it is a key resource in keeping traffic moving safely through the area;
The car park parents are always looking for new volunteers so please email: metns.carpark@gmail.com if you can give some time to the school community at the drop off time.
