On March the 15th children gathered to protest outside government buildings in cities all over the world to show their concern regarding climate change and the widespread lack of political action regarding this matter.
While some children from the school joined the protest in the city, METNS also joined in with a show of solidarity closer to home. We had our own protest walk on Kill Ave and around the campus to illustrate our love of our planet and our wish for political action regarding climate change. The children wore green, carried banners they had made and shouted their hearts out. “What do we want?…… Climate Action! …..When do we want it?….. Now!”
