Just at the end of September, our young farmers went out and harvested apples from the apple tree, and potatoes and lettuce from the garden. We had the best fun harvesting what nature has given to us although the potato crop was only about half of what it usually is (the sun shone so much and the rain did not come!). We sold the produce at our annual ‘Young Farmers Market’ and made enough money to buy the seeds for next years crop. We also had enough left over to invest in a little garden decoration for the back. We have three sheep (statues) living out the back now and everyone loves them.
