The Board of Management supports inclusion and acknowledges that the extra costs involved for a family to undertake exploratory educational assessment for their child may prove problematic and unsettling.
If finance is proving a barrier to accessing educational assessment, the BOM will offer to help support the family up to a maximum of 33% of the assessment fee. The provision of financial support will be contingent on the funds available to the BoM at the relevant time.
Please liaise with your teacher and submit a request to the Board seeking financial support and/or to arrange a further meeting.
All requests will be dealt with in strict confidence and on a case-by-case basis.
