Eight team of athletes represented our school in the Dublin area, athletics championships in the Morton Stadium, Santry. The boys and girls competed in individual 100m sprints, and 4 x 100m relays, in the U-10 to U-13 age-groups.
We had individual success with Eve Kirby and Alannah Felton winning bronze medals and the team success of the U-13 girls winning the silver (Eve, Eva, Dearbhla, Lainey and Holly).
We had lots of individual and teams making it through to finals, which is really hard as the competition is fierce, and every single child ran his/her heart out. and we had great fun and the sun shone.
What a great day, and well done all athletes. We are really proud of you.
