The METNS Community Book Fair was once again a huge success with €4,1200 raised! This means that the school will receive €2,472 back in the form of books. A really big thank you to everyone for your generosity in supporting the fair, what an incredible result!
The PTA would like to extend a massive thank you to each and every child for their patience, politeness, manners and respectfulness throughout the fair. They are an absolute credit to their parents and teachers. We couldn’t get over how brilliant they all were, especially around the ‘last copy’ order system. Given the unfortunate delay in books, we really couldn’t believe how the vast majority of ‘last copies’ remained on the shelves!!!!
A massive thanks also to all the staff for their help and support and to all the volunteers who generously gave their time to help us out.
The teachers are excitedly getting ready to work with the children to draw up a wish list for classroom reading. Happy reading everyone!
