In art this week we explored colour mixing. We learned that red, blue and yellow are called the primary colours. We put some red, yellow and blue paint in a clear plastic bag and then took turns to squish and mix the paint inside the bag – it was great fun and we discovered how to make green, purple and orange (secondary colours). Next we used our brushes to mix the primary colours on our palettes and created a huge variety of colours. We then painted some beautiful spring themed pictures. We hope you enjoy looking at our lovely work. Victoria is very proud of all of us!
